Gursimar Singh Bedi is an inquisitive and imaginative individual with a passion for programming and a desire to make a significant impact on the world. As an SDE Intern in IN Payments, Experiences Tech at Amazon, he is responsible for developing software in the UPI team, focusing on payment acceptance and customer experience. Gursimar is a compassionate worker who is disciplined, dependable, and willing to work hard to achieve results. He is a healthy competitor with excellent time management skills, always motivated to grow, learn, and excel. He is known for being a keen listener, an articulate speaker, and a keen observer. Prior to joining Amazon, Gursimar was a Core Committee member in the Technical Department of AI Club at VIT Bhopal University. In this role, he designed the curriculum for events and conducted hands-on sessions on OpenCV during CV week. He was also a Community Contributor at dphi, where he wrote blogs on Data Science Fundamentals and shared Jupyter Notebooks that focused on specific techniques. Gursimar holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from VIT, with an expected graduation date of December 2022. He also holds a High School Diploma from Venkateshwar Global School. Gursimar's technical skills include software engineering, AI, OpenCV, web development, and computer vision.
